Approximately ten places per year of study are available for admission during the cycle.

French candidates holding the following diplomas (or equivalent for candidates from the European Union) :

  • FOR AN ENTRY IN YEAR 2: BTS Space Design, DNMADE, BTS Architectural Environment Design, DUT Civil Engineering, DNSEP Study and realization of layout, DNAT Space Design, Bachelor of Applied Arts / Design
  • FOR AN ENTRY IN YEAR 3: Diploma of engineering TP or GC, interior architect ENSAD or BOULLE, assistant architects EPSAA, DSAA Space Design

 

Access in 4th year (Master 1)

Approximately ten places per year of study are available for admission during the cycle.

  • French candidates holding the following diplomas (or equivalent for candidates from the European Union): Double Degree in Engineering TPE or INSA and Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from ENSA, Diplôme Ingénieur des Ponts et Chaussées.
  • Candidates transferring from another French ENSA.
    A student enrolled in a National School of Architecture in France (excluding INSA and ESA) who wishes to join ENSAS must obtain information and make a prior request to his or her home institution. His or her request will be submitted to the director of the home institution for approval before being forwarded to ENSAS. ENSAS accepts transfers only for applications concerning admission to Master 1 (transfer between the third and fourth year). Applications are examined each year in April. Please contact the director of studies of your home institution for more information.

 

You hold a diploma issued by a country outside the European Union

In any case, except for the Erasmus mobility course, you must follow the “DAP” procedure (prior admission request).

ADMISSION PROCESS

Approximately ten places per year of study are available for admission during the cycle.

Step 1

APPLICATION ON APP.STRASBOURG.ARCHI.FR FROM JANUARY 13 TO MARCH 1, 2021.

The application form is entered online. It is composed of the marks obtained in the baccalaureate, in the current course of study or in the last validated higher education diploma, a letter of motivation and a portfolio.

A pre-registration fee of 37 euros (exemption for scholarship applicants) will be requested from all candidates; except for the DAP procedure for foreigners outside the European Union. 

Step 2

ELIGIBILITY BASED ON ACADEMIC RECORD, COVER LETTER AND PORTFOLIO

An adhoc committee evaluates each candidate’s application.

Step 3 

ADMISSION INTERVIEW

The interview is conducted by two ENSAS teachers and lasts 20 minutes. It consists of an exchange with the teachers to evaluate the motivation and general culture of the candidate according to his or her background. It can begin with a commentary on an image (chosen by the candidate).

Admission interviews on May 19, 2021 
Interviews take place on site or by video depending on the health situation and in case the candidate lives at a distance of more than 1000 km, the interview will be held automatically by video.

Step 4

RANKING OF AUDITIONED CANDIDATES

It is based on the average academic record (coefficient 1) and the interview score (coefficient 1).

ANNOUNCEMENT OF ADMISSION RESULTS

By e-mail from May 28, 2021
No results will be communicated by telephone.

GENERAL POLICIES

Double applications are not allowed. Candidates applying in year 2, 3 or 4 cannot apply in parallel in year 1 via admission-postbac. 

Non-French speaking candidates from the European Union will have to prove a B2 level of knowledge of the French language at least.

Incomplete or late applications will not be processed. It is recommended to check the date of sending at the post office on the envelope.
Any fraud or attempted fraud in the information entered or documents provided may lead to sanctions that may include cancellation of the file and withdrawal of the eventual application for admission, without prejudice to any legal action that may be taken. 

COST OF THE STUDIES

 

  • 373 euros per year for a Bachelor’s degree - 512 euros per year for a Master’s degree;
  • + 91 euros in CVEC (Contribution Vie Étudiante et de Campus);
  • other optional fees (Equipment kits, student associations).
