Dual Master’s degree
in Architecture // TU Dresden

The double Franco-German Master’s degree in architecture and construction techniques set up by the ENSAS and the Faculty of Architecture of the Technical University of Dresden (TU Dresden) aims to train architects with strong technical skills, qualified to work in France and Germany.

CONTENT

The curriculum remains generalist in order to allow students to approach all the disciplines necessary for the training of an architect. It nevertheless emphasizes technique and construction, specialties taught by the Faculty of Architecture in Dresden. Bi-national workshops, trips and intensive on-site project sessions are organized throughout the studies.

In the 3rd year of the Bachelor’s degree, a joint project workshop for French and German students wishing to enter the double Master’s program is offered.

The diploma file consists of three documents:

  • diploma in architecture from the TU Dresden degree of Diplom-Ingenieur, delivered by the TU Dresden ;
  • State diploma of Architect, Master’s degree, delivered by the ENSAS;
  • certificate attesting to participation and success in a Franco-German course of study accredited by the Université Franco-Allemande (UFA).

COURSE OF STUDIES

The students following the course are enrolled during the two years of the Master’s program at both ENSAS and the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Dresden.

By joining the program, students commit to spend two full semesters at the partner institution.
