Youth hostels in Strasbourg :
“Action Logement” (- 30 ans)
“Action Logement” is a public company, the social branch of the State in the construction, renovation and rental of housing. It offers several schemes:
- Mobili-Jeune for work-study students, up to 100€ per month;
- Visale for students and work-study students, rent guarantee up to 1 200€ per month for 36 months.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR HOUSING (APL oR ALS)
In France, students can benefit from financial aid for housing which can, in part, help pay the monthly rent. For more information, consult the Caisse d’allocations familiales (CAF) :
Home insurance protects your home and property against the many losses that can occur. When you rent a home in France, taking out this insurance is mandatory.
Culture and sport
You have access to the 68 libraries of the University of Strasbourg which represent 1.2 million books and cover all fields and disciplines. The loan is made on presentation of the Pass Campus Alsace.
“Pass Campus Alsace” card
ENSAS students receive the Pass Campus Alsace upon registration. This student identity document is a real all-purpose pass and gives access to many services: public transportation, university restaurants, campus sports activities (SUAPS), libraries, electronic wallet, etc.
Accessible to all students, this card allows you to benefit from preferential rates on shows, cinemas and museums throughout Alsace at the price of 7€ per year.
60 physical activities are offered at the University Physical and Sports Activities Service (SUAPS): fitness, team sports, racket sports, combat, target sports, aquatic and nautical activities, gymnastics, dances, outdoor sports, etc.

The University Service of Preventive Medicine and Health Promotion (SUMPS) ensures the medical protection of students and organizes prevention and information campaigns. All consultations are free except in gynecology.
The university medical-psychological reception center in Strasbourg offers a free listening place for students, run by a team composed of psychiatrists, psychologists, a guidance counselor psychologist and social workers.
